Curracag Talks / Events:10th August: Bob Swann of the S.O.C. will be giving a talk on 'Our Changing Bird Populations'. The talk begins at 7:30 pm at Gerinish Hall, South Uist. 13th August: Craig MacAdam of Buglife will be leading a walk 'Introduction to Invertebrates'. Please meet at Balranald visitor centre at 2 pm. 17th August: A talk by Karen Varnham (University of Bristol) on Hedgehogs in the Hebrides and what they are eating will be held at Gerinish Hall at 7:30 pm. 21st August: Discover Bryophytes Walk led by Patrick Hughes. This walk will start at 2 pm. Please meet at the Loch Druidibeg parking area; approximately 1.5 miles along the Loch Skipport road with waterproof footwear. 4th September: A botanical drawing workshop will be held by Anne Rabbitts at the Claddach Kirkibost Centre, 10 am to 4 pm.
