5th February: North Uist: 3rd winter Iceland Gull, 1st and 2nd winter Glaucous Gull at Balranald. Male Pochard on Loch na Reivil, Hougharry. Benbecula: Immature Glaucous Gull and Pied Wagtail in Balivanich. 2 immature Glaucous Gulls in Stinky Bay and another 2 behind the co-op at Creagorry. 23 Greenland White-fronted Geese at Loch Fada.
4th February: Benbecula: A 1st winter Glaucous Gull was on Coot Loch this morning before flying off towards the coast to the west. 3rd February: Lewis: 10 Iceland Gulls and 3 Glaucous Gulls around Ness. 17 Jackdaws at Borve. North Uist: An adult Iceland Gull was at the Balranald turning and a 1st winter Glaucous Gull flew over the visitor centre. 2nd February: Lewis: Iceland Gull at Bru. 2nd winter Kumlien's Gull, 8 Iceland Gulls (including 3 adults) and a 2nd winter Glaucous Gull were between Port of Ness and the Butt. A 1st winter Little Gull flew north along the cliffs, south-east of the lighthouse in the afternoon. North Uist: An adult and immature Iceland Gull were at Clachan today. South Uist: 3 Glaucous Gulls at Ardivachar and a single Iceland Gull past there. 1st February: Lewis: 60 Iceland Gulls and a Glaucous Gull around Stornoway today. North Uist: 2 adult Iceland Gulls and a 1st yr Glaucous Gull at Balemore this morning. 11 European White-fronted Geese are by Loch Mor on Baleshare and a Pink-footed Goose is also on the island. South Uist: 1st winter Glaucous Gull at Rubha Ardvule today. |
