28th November:

North Uist: 69 Great Northern Divers and 15 Slavonian Grebes around the coast of  Berneray, plus 11 Common Scoter. 70+ Snow Buntings on Borve machair, Berneray. Chiffchaff at Clachan Farm.

Other: At least one Harbour Porpoise north-east Berneray. 

26th November:

Sound of Harris: 40 Slavonian Grebes (all close to Berneray) 118 Great Northern Divers and 13 Red-throated Divers from the ferry this afternoon.

24th November:

North Uist: Female Ring-necked Duck on Loch Eaval and juvenile Pomarine Skua passed Griminish Point.

22nd November:

Benbecula: 20 Snow Buntings on Torlum machair and male Pintail at Borve Point.

South Uist: Kentish Plover South Ford off Hebridean Jewellery. 1st and 2nd yr Glaucous Gull in North Bay.

21st November:

Benbecula: Great White Egret Loch Mor, also 30 White-fronted Geese there. Male Pintail and 1st yr male Scaup Coot Loch.

South Uist: Kentish Plover Hebridean Jewellery. 1st yr and 2nd yr Glaucous Gull North Bay. 17 Snow Buntings Drimsdale machair.

20th November:

Benbecula: Great White Egret on Loch Fada again this afternoon (12:30).

South Uist: Kentish Plover off Hebridean Jewellery and 20 Snow Buntings there this morning. 2 Chiffchaff and a male Blackcap at Kinloch B&B. Chiffchaff and Woodcock at Druidibeg and 3 Chiffchaff at Snishival. Brambling at Howmore and Grey Wagtail over Drimsdale.

Insects: Red Admiral at Peter's Port, Benbecula.

19th November:

South Uist: Kentish Plover showing well just passed Hebridean Jewellery where track begins to break up.

Other: Juvenile Long-finned Pilot Whale washed up dead on the beach at Baleshare.

18th November:

Benbecula: Great White Egret Loch Fada.

Lewis: Iceland Gull Loch Barvas.

Benbecula: Chiffchaff near Dunganichy. Male Pintail Coot Loch.

South Uist: Kentish Plover off Hebridean Jewellery again this afternoon.

South Uist: 50 Snow Buntings Balgarva. Imm Glaucous Gull North Bay. 2 Chiffchaff North Loch Eynort.

14th November:

South Uist: 100 Snow Buntings Balgarva.

13th November:

North Uist: Female Ring-necked Duck Loch Eaval.

South Uist: Kentish Plover, Hebridean Jewellery.

Lewis: juvenile Gyr / hybird? seen heading toward Steinish this morning.

South Uist: Kentish Plover off Hebridean Jewellery again today.

11th November:

Lewis: Juvenile falcon  - apparently a Gyr at Sandwick, Stornoway today. Juvenile Pomarine Skua, 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 3 Little Auk passed the Butt of Lewis in 2 hours this morning; also 1st w Iceland Gull and Glaucous Gull there. 1st w Iceland Gull at Loch Stiapabhat. 1st w Glaucous Gull and Melbost.

South Uist: Kentish Plover again in the South Ford off Hebridean Jewellery. Little Auk at Garrynamonie. Imm Glaucous Gull North Bay. 25 Scaup Loch Bee.

Barra: 12 Little Auk north passed Borve Point. female / imm Velvet Scoter Cornaig Bay, Vatersay.

10th November:

South Uist: 1st w Ivory Gull seen briefly at Howmore estuary, probably flew south. Kentish Plover off Hebridean Jewellery, South Ford.

9th November:

Lewis: 1 Sooty Shearwater and 1 Little Auk passed the Butt of Lewis. Juvenile Gluacuos Gull and adult Iceland Gull Siadar Beach.

Sound Of Harris: 2 Little Auk from the ferry.

8th November:

Lewis: Grey Phalarope passed Bru.

North Uist: 24 Pomarine Skuas and a Storm Petrel passed Griminish Point / Caisteal Odair in just over 2 hours this morning.              Female Ring-necked Duck on Loch Eaval.

7th November:

Lewis: Blackcap at Lionel and 1st w Iceland Gull at Cross.

North Uist: Mourning Dove Carnach. Female Ring-necked Duck Loch Eaval. Sooty Shearwater, 4 Pomarine Skuas and a Little Auk passed Griminish Point between 08:20 - 10:30.

South Uist: 2nd yr Glaucous Gull North Bay.

6th November:

Lewis: 3 Sooty Shearwaters and 4 Little Auk passed the Butt of Lewis.

North Uist: Mourning Dove Carnach. Female Ring-necked Duck and 2 Scaup on Loch na Faoileige. Richardson's Canada Goose Berneray. Siberian Chiffchaff Clachan Sands.

Grimsay: 1st w Iceland Gull at Monach Seafoods.

South Uist: 3 Chiffchaff North Loch Eynort. Juvenile Glaucous Gull south passed Peninerine. 2nd w Glaucous Gull North Bay.

5th November:

North Uist: Mourning Dove still at Carnach. Female Ring-necked Duck and Scaup on Loch na Faoileige. Richardson's Canada Goose on Berneray this morning. 2 Grey Phalaropes, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 5 juvenile Pomarine Skuas and a Little Auk passed Griminish Point (08:00 - 13:00).

4th November:

Lewis: Red-breasted Flyctacher near Marybank Lodge in the Castle Grounds, also Chiffchaff there.

North Uist: Mourning Dove still at Carnach today. Arctic Redpoll at Clachan Sands. Great White Egret at Loch Dusary. Black Redstart at Lochmaddy and Richardson's Canada Goose at Berneray.

3rd November:

North Uist: Mourning Dove still at Carnach today. Arctic Redpoll at Oban Trumisgarry, also Great White Egret (mobile). Yellow-browed Warbler at Lochmaddy and Ring-necked Duck at Balranald.

2nd November:

North Uist: Mourning Dove still at Carnach today. Nearby Female / juvenile Ring-necked Duck, 1st w male Scaup and Gadwall on Loch na Faoileige. Great White Egret at Oban Trumisgarry and later at Lochmaddy. Iceland Gull and 2 White-fronted Geese at Clachan Sands. Whooper Swans were on the move once the rain stopped this afternoon, all heading south: 31 Baleshare, 7 Clachan-a-Luib, 6 Benbecula, 54 over Drimsdale, South Uist.

1st November:

North Uist: Mourning Dove at Carnach, found by the same person (Brian Rabbitts) who found Britain's first only a few miles away at Carinish in 1999. Also a male Blackcap here and female Ring-necked Duck nearby on Loch na Faoileige.
